DJ Experience

An avid DJ and co‑founder of the carnival collective Minha Luz é de LED, @minhaluzedeled, Arthur helped transform Biltre’s Bananobike experiment into a full‑scale block that blends tradition and technology. The group combines old and new: instead of a traditional trio elétrico, its sound comes from a Bananobike—a bicycle with a sound system—and the set list crosses axé, samba, pop, technobrega, funk and whatever else keeps the crowd dancingheloisatolipan.com.br.

Since 2014 Minha Luz é de LED has been a highlight of Rio’s alternative carnival, with hosts mixing MPB, 1980s beats, funk and technobrega mashups while LED costumes flash in time with the musicrotacult.com.br.

By meshing the traditional with the technological, the collective influences thousands of revelers and serves as a creative laboratory for new ideasmapa.cultura.es.gov.br.

Music Experience

As a composer and founding member of the Rio de Janeiro–based band Biltre (https://dicionariompb.com.br/grupo/biltre/), Arthur helped establish a group formed in 2011 by Arthur Ferreira, Dioclau Serrano, Diogo Furieri and Vicente coelho. Known for its irreverent pop‑electronic sound, scenediariodorio.com.
In the band, Arthur plays guitar, bass, and acoustic guitar, in addition to producing beats and mixing.

Beyond Biltre, Arthur develops experimental projects such as Suco Sonoro created for Carla Ferraz’s installation O Ponto.https://www.instagram.com/o.p0nto?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==
In this performance, fruits soaked in water were wired to a sound board; touching each fruit triggered noises, beats and sampled phrases from Hélio Oiticica’s voice, allowing the audience to build rhythms and textures in real timeppgac-ecoufrj.com.br. The interactive piece captivated students, artists and visitors, and moved curator César Oiticica Filho when he realized the samples came from his documentaryppgac-ecoufrj.com.br. The success of Suco Sonoro underscores his ability to combine music, art and technology into participatory sensory experiences.

Live Sound

Bananobike is a mobile sound-system built on a custom tricycle—half art installation, half street-party machine. What started as an experiment in 2013 quickly became an icon of Rio’s alternative scene, transforming public spaces into dancefloors and inviting people to experience music in motion.

With speakers, lights, and a fully functional DJ setup mounted onto a bike, Bananobike embodies the essence of creative independence: spontaneous, collective, and joyfully disruptive. It has powered block parties, performances, film appearances, and the early years of the “Minha Luz é de LED” carnival collective, becoming a symbol of DIY culture in Brazilian music.

Studio

Located in the heart of Santa Teresa, the studio reflects everything I value in music-making: warmth, openness, artistic freedom, and the pleasure of welcoming people into an environment where ideas flow naturally.

More than a workplace, Salve Studio is an extension of my journey as a sound engineer and musician. Every detail—from the equipment to the layout to the energy of the room—was shaped by my experiences on the road, on stage, and in the booth. It’s where I record, mix, teach, experiment, and connect with artists who arrive with a vision and leave with something even stronger.
@salvesalvestudio

As a composer and musician, my work is grounded in storytelling through sound. I create original scores that blend electronic textures, acoustic elements, and emotional atmospheres tailored to each project. Whether for theater, film, live performance, or immersive installations, my approach is always centered on listening deeply—understanding the narrative, the characters, and the sensations that the music needs to evoke.

My experience as a performer and sound engineer shapes the way I compose: every piece is built with attention to detail, clarity, and live adaptability. I enjoy exploring rhythm, harmony, and timbre to craft sound worlds that feel both intimate and expansive.
